Our Services
Many businesses deal with property lettings and sales. We deal exclusively with letting and property management so we have no conflicts of interest.
The Collier Family has owned and rented property in the Tees Valley area for over 50 years. In 2003 David Collier and Judith Collier created Collier Property Management LLP (CPM) to make the experience gained available to other landlords and their properties.
In 2024 David and Judith were joined by one of their sons Stephen. They are assisted by 3 long serving and experienced staff. In addition there are trusted contractors that can be called upon to carry out pretty much any other back up service, whether it be maintenance or professional services such as the provision of Gas Safety Certificates and EICRs.
The business manages a mix of accommodation where the tenants both pay their own rent and have rent paid by Universal Credit. All are managed to the same high standard from the CPM office in Linthorpe Village, Middlesbrough.
CPM aims for happy tenants who look after their property and pay their rent… with the result of happy landlords. The fact that many landlords and many tenants have been with us for many years speaks positively for this policy.
In a ‘previous life’ David was senior partner of a leading North East Solicitors practice prior to retiring from that post in March 2014 when he became full time at CPM.
Judith started working in property for Housing Associations Bradford & Northern and North Housing (now part of Home Group).

Professional Standards
We are corporate members of the National Residential Landlords Association (NRLA) and SafeAgent (SafeAgent Licence No A5175). This enables us to keep up to date with the legal requirements affecting the private rented property sector and with training and documents, particularly important given the recent changes made by the Renters’ Rights Act 2025.

Whilst we hope that you don’t have cause to complain, as we would ideally prefer to deal with any issues before a complaint arises, if you do we have a formal procedure details of which can be found here.
